QCHP GENERAL DENTIST LICENSING EXAM
QCHP stands for Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners, which is the licence required of health care professionals in order to work anywhere in the Qatar.
Eligibility for QCHP Dental Exam
Minimum of 3 years (after internship) experience. Any external Internship program after 5 years of study can be counted within the experience.

General Requirements

Copy of valid passport.

Copy of valid QID (front and back) or (the national number* with copy of the document).

ne recent photo (according to photo criteria stated in circular (04-2014) or in the “Additional Attachments” document).

An up to date Curriculum Vitae (C.V).(Refer to CV template on Circular 11/2017)

Copy of all academic certificates relevant to applicant’s scope with official transcript (refer to Table no. 1 & 2).

Copy of the recent work experience certificates (with an issue date) required according to applicant’s scope (refer to Table no. 1 & 2).

Copy of valid medical/registration licenses accompanying the required years of work experience (if applicable).

Copy of primary source verification report.

The verification report will be reviewed during this phase; any misleading information provided will result in further investigations and could result in disciplinary action.

Copy of the passing certificate of the qualifying exam (if applicable).

(The National number depends on each country such as the Adhaar card in India national ID in Sudan, the national insurance number in UK, the multi-purpose number in the Philippines…etc.)

QCHP Dental Exam Pattern

Only Theory exam, no practical. The exam is conducted digitally at centers present in various countries. Find out your nearest center, there is at least one center in every state of India.

The theory exam consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions with a timer of 3 hours

How to study

It is too hectic to go back to college days and read all the textbooks mentioned above to clear the exam. YOU REALLY DON’T HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THE BOOKS MENTIONED ABOVE. That is why we are here to help.

Gulf Exams are primarily focused on clinical knowledge including accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. This means it asks questions mainly from clinical subjects only.

But we would not recommend preparing by yourself unless you know how to prepare. We guide you by specifically teaching only the topics that is important for the exams, thus narrowing the vast study material, which in turn guarantees the pass percentage with lesser hard work.

If you are looking to clear the exam in the 1st attempt itself, you will need to prepare thoroughly for 3-4 months at least.

Pass Percentage for Qatar Dental Exam

Unlike other Gulf Exams, Qatar Dental Exam shows the results right after you click the submit button at the exam

The pass percentage is 60%
Result & its validity

The Results are displayed immediately after you click the submit button after the exam.

There is no Eligibility Letter for QCHP exam.

This Exam result is valid for 3 years.
What if I fail the 1st attempt?

You will have to rebook for the 2nd attempt. A total of 5 attempts are allowed.
Landing a job

Since Qatar MOH doesn't have an eligibility Letter per say, you exam results can be produced while applying for a job.
